About The Role

What you'll do.

We're hiring a Tour Leader in Rome to host our travelers as they move through the city and greater Lazio. You'll be their first point of contact on arrival, their daily coordinator, and the person who turns a good trip into one they'll still talk about in ten years.

Who This Is For

Someone who loves Rome so much they could spend an afternoon explaining the difference between Trastevere and Testaccio to anyone who'd listen — and who also knows how to get a table at the trattoria that stopped taking reservations in 2019. You've been doing this for years and you do it well.

Day To Day

Responsibilities.

  1. 01

Meet travelers on arrival, orient them to the city, and walk them through the week ahead

  2. 02

Coordinate private guides, restaurants, transfers and museum access throughout their stay

  3. 03

Stay one step ahead — confirm bookings the day before, scout alternatives when things fall through

  4. 04

Handle the small courtesies that feel like magic: a birthday cake, a handwritten note, a last-minute reroute

  5. 05

Share notes with our Barcelona and Lisbon leaders when travelers are moving between cities

  6. 06

Report back to the design team on partner quality, traveler feedback and new discoveries

Must Haves

What we're looking for.

  • Fluent Italian and English — additional languages a welcome bonus

  • 3+ years as a tour leader, concierge or private host in Rome

  • Current, living knowledge of the city — restaurants, galleries, drivers, the people behind the doors

  • Polished presentation, warm temperament, absolute discretion about guest matters

  • Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and peak holidays

Nice To Have

Bonus points for…

  • Academic background in classical history, art history or archaeology

  • Existing relationships with Roman chefs, gallery owners, or museum curators

  • Driver's license for Lazio day trips (Castelli Romani, Tivoli, Ostia Antica)

  • First aid training
